Prince Was An Incredible performer and constant innovator

If you’re feeling the way that we are, you’re still in shock that legendary performer Prince has died. It was just one week ago today that Prince played a pair of concerts at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta as part of his solo Piano & A Microphone Tour and apparently he had more shows in the works.

The St. Louis Post Dispatch reports The Purple One had been in discussions to play a pair of shows at the Fox in St. Louis on April 18. Talks with promoter Steve Litman of Steve Litman Presents, who confirmed the report, fell off after Prince was hospitalized one week ago tonight. “I was on the phone talking to them (Prince’s representatives) during the day every couple of hours (April 14). He had just boarded a plane in Minneapolis and was headed to Atlanta and we were going to get the final answer when he landed. They were discussing it in the dressing room. This went on and on until the Atlanta shows were over,” Litman told the paper which revealed “everything was ready to go regarding the concert.”

Prince mentioned more shows were in the works last week, but this was at some point all put to rest in the last few days when all announcements on his page were deleted.

The amazing Prince still as good as ever. Saw him 7 times and got to jam with him once. The King has definitely left the building now.
