New standard set in live sound streaming

New HD Sound For Live Performances

Keyboard manufacturer Korg has teamed up with technology giant Sony on their new DSD Live Streaming project. The DSD Live Streaming project is designed to stream live performances in the high-resolution DSD 5.6MHz audio format, allowing users to view live concerts, with high sound quality. Korg and Sony, are just two of six companies and organisations that have collaborated on the project.

The first concerts to be streamed on this new format were held on April 5th, featuring Tokyo-HARUSAI Marathon Concert Vol. 5, and the second on April 11th, starring the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra.
