A new teaching guide by Anthony Williams has been released by Faber Music. The Piano Teacher’s Survival Guide offers up a host of comprehensive tips for teachers, from preparing for the very first lesson to helping students deal with performance anxiety. This guide helps teachers nurture and support students at every level, and with musical communication at its heart, The Piano Teacher’s Survival Guide tackles universal issues and common frustrations faced by all pianists as well as improving and developing teaching skills and piano technique.

Concert pianist, writer, lecturer, ABRSM examiner and adjudicator, Anthony Williams is first and foremost a passionate educator of pianistic musicianship at all levels from beginner to advanced. He frequently gives master classes on performance, repertoire and the art of teaching in the UK and abroad, and is Head of Keyboard at Radley College.
