Cambridge Classical Concert Series 2014/15 Launches with Pianist Freddy Kempf

The classical glitterati were out in force last night to celebrate the launch of the Cambridge Classical Concert Series 2014/15.

Taking place at the Cambridge Corn Exchange from October 17, the News backed classical music extravaganza saw the series’ new artist in residence announced, the internationally acclaimed pianist Freddy Kempf, who performed on the night.

Kempf said: ““I’m tremendously excited and delighted to have been appointed Artist in Residence at Cambridge Corn Exchange.

“The venue is a pleasure to play in.”

The series will feature seven concerts, including three performed by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as guest slots from The European Union Chamber Orchestra, the St Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Northern Sinfonia with soloist Natalie Clein and the Brussels Philharmonic.
