Piano Player Needed For Musical Theatre Panto
Beverley Musical Theatre in Hull are appealing for a pianist to help out with their annual pantomime. Aladdin will run from November 27 to December 1.
The group are renowned for producing excellent entertainment for children and adults. They already have the cast, the venue and the costumes ready.
The pianist, though, has left to go to university, so the group need a new one for rehearsals starting on September 4.
Anyone who is interested will need to be available on Wednesday and Sunday evenings at Beverley Masonic Hall in Trinity Lane.
Organisers say it will suit anyone who has a love of playing the piano at a good standard and wants either experience, practice or just to be part of a group.
Anyone interested should email Alison White at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07805 535981.
Anyone who wants to get involved with a Beverley Carnival later this month is invited to get in touch. The event will raise funds for a charitable trust helping disadvantaged children.
The Tyas Foundation was launched by John Robinson of Whites Restaurant, Beverley, as a wedding gift for his wife, Liz, whose maiden name is Tyas.
The aim of the carnival on July 21, at Beverley High School, will be to raise money and give people a great day-out.
The carnival will include stalls, a hog roast and children’s activities and competitions.
Entries can be submitted by email to info@tyasfound ation.co.uk and the search is also on for an unsung Beverley hero to open the carnival.
