Ashley Wass, one of the leading pianists of his generation, joins Bath Philharmonia for a concert performance at the Theatre Royal Bath conducted by Jason Thornton on Sunday, May 5 at 3pm.
The afternoon concert will feature a programme of popular classics including Nocturne by Alexander Borodin, Serenade for Strings by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Piano Concerto No. 2 by Frédéric Chopin.

He has performed as soloist with all of the BBC Orchestras, the Philharmonia, Orchestre National de Lille, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic and RLPO, under the baton of conductors such as Simon Rattle.
In recent years he has become a regular guest at the BBC Proms, making his debut in 2008 with Vaughan Williams’ Piano Concerto, and returning in following seasons.
