Pet Shop Boys To Release ‘Electric’ Album
Pet Shop Boys will release a new album, ‘Electric’, in June via Kobalt after 28 years with their former label Phonogram.
The chart-toppers, whose 1980s hits include “West End Girls” and “It’s A Sin”, said further details of their 12th studio album would be released soon.
The move by the duo to leave their old record label, who have sold 50 million records worldwide since getting together 32 years ago, comes a month after it was announced that Parlophone was being sold to Warner Music.
Electric was produced by Stuart Price and the band will be promoting its release with a number of festival and one-off shows including previously announced shows in London and Manchester.
