Keyboard Comedy Host To Appear In Downton Abbey
Graham Harding, the compere at Ian Griffin’s Keyboard Winter Warmer breaks, is to appear as a supporting actor in the next series of of Downton Abbey on ITV1 – this will be in the new year after the Christmas day version.
Graham started as a Bluecoat at Pontin’s Barton Hall, Torquay and went on to become entertainments manager at their other sites, which numbered 26 in the 1980’s.
As a performer Graham is particularly skillful at playing the ukulele and has appeared at Barton Hall in the 1980’s. At Barton Hall he worked alongside Andy Oakley who has also become a firm favourite as a comedy entertainer at keyboard events.
Graham showed his versatility at the recent Keyboard Winter Warmer when he played along with Keykix – Ian Griffin and Richard Bower.
At the Sherborne Keyboard Winter Warmer Graham explained that the series was recorded in parts and that he would not know the complete story line until he saw it himself on television. He said that a wedding in a church was forthcoming and that he was appearing in that scene. He said he could not say too much because of the contract clause not to reveal details of what is yet to come.
